Tricia Nichols RN, MSN, CCRN
Director of Nursing Education at Aria Health.
Tricia is a registered nurse who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Holy Family University in 1998. Her experience includes telemetry, trauma, cardiothoracic, and intensive care nursing. In pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, she transferred to Staff Development Department in 2006. Tricia worked as the critical care educator and was responsible for critical care courses and competency training held at Aria Health, as well as any in-services or educational events. In 2010, she completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and assumed a position as a clinical nurse specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
After 2 years, Tricia returned to Aria Health as the Director of Nursing Education. She currently coordinates and teaches educational events for the organization. She recently has been vigorously involved in strategic planning for employee engagement activities and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Michelle E. Conley DrNP(c), MBA, RN, CENP
Chief Nursing Officer at Aria Health
Collaborative, detail and results oriented professional with over thirty years of progressive nursing and administrative experience. Michelle has proven leadership in attaining quality, patient safety, and patient and staff satisfaction outcomes. She is skilled at navigating and fostering the capabilities of others during times of change. Michelle has extensive experience in project management, regulatory compliance, recruitment, retention, and program turnaround. Michelle currently provides executive leadership for the nursing department of a 3 hospital health system serving Philadelphia and Bucks County.
John Malara, PA-C, MHS
Aria 3B Orthopaedic Institute Advance Practice Coordinator
John Malara is a Physician Assistant at Aria Health and coordinator of the 3B Orthopaedics Advanced Practice Professionals. John received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 and attended Drexel University where he obtained his Master’s degree of Health Sciences and Physician Assistant degree in 2005.
John practiced at University of Pennsylvania health system as a clinical physician assistant immediately following graduation prior to undertaking his present managerial role in 2012. John shares clinical, administrative and leadership responsibilities for 3B Orthopaedics, a busy sports medicine and orthopaedic joint replacement institute. His passion for quality care, outcomes, and customer satisfaction, has resulted in a significantly improved patient experience.
Bea Leyden, RN, BSN, MBA, CPHQ
Director, Nursing Clinical Practice and Performance Improvement Aria Health
A Philadelphia native with more than 30 years of experience in health care, Bea began her healthcare career in nursing and has experience in critical care, cardiac catheterization lab, nursing education and nursing quality. She is a graduate of Aria Health School of Nursing, holds a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Holy Family University. She has a black belt in Lean Six Sigma and certification as a Healthcare Quality Professional (CPHQ). She currently is the Director of Nursing
